Chamber of Deputies

International Assemblies are made up of delegations from national Parliaments. The number of representatives from the various Member States corresponds to their population size. To the extent permitted by the availability of seats, national delegations must be as representative as possible of the political groups in their home parliament, and ensure gender representation.

The Italian Parliament has five bicameral delegations to:

• the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE)
• the NATO Parliamentary Assembly (NATO-PA)
• the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE-PA)
• the Parliamentary Dimension of the Central European Initiative (CEI)
• the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union for the Mediterranean (AP-UfM).
